Welcome to the UNM Mechanical Engineering
Graduate Programs’ website. Our
ABET-accredited
Department is part of the School of Engineering (SOE).
The ME Graduate Programs offer the MSME and PhD degrees. We are located in
Albuquerque,
the largest city in the State of
New Mexico,
USA. We have convenient access to the Rio Grande as well as the
beautiful Sandia (pictured above) and Monzano Mountains. Numerous recreational activities
are within reach. New Mexico is also an internationally renowned
center for the arts and other
cultural activities.

featured Albuquerque as one of 10 “Best
Places to Live” in its July 2009 issue!
Our faculty members and graduate students form a group of scholars with an interest in innovation, creativity, and advanced study. Our programs provide excellent prospects for investigation and for close association among people whose common goal is to broaden the boundaries of their profession.
